Wind For The Birds To Play (2009)

Director: Rydian Cook

Another great music video for one of my tracks by Rydian Cook! He contacted me a few months ago after i posted the track on a filmmakers forum (Shane Meadows to be precise), as he really liked the song and wanted to make a video for it! Enjoy!

A Walk Around The Dock

I've just created a new Flickr page for all my artwork and photography.

The first instalment is a set of photos i took whilst testing a camera for a friend, around the Docklands area in East London.
The camera wasn't a proper SLR but a pretty decent digital one, and i'm happy with most of the pics!

New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival

As part of my Uni course we had to create a 5min Radio Drama piece, using only sound to portray an original story.

Mine was entitled 'Blackout', about a man who repeatedly wakes up in strange locations and situations, not knowing how or why he got there. As the piece progresses he becomes more and more distressed, desperately trying to work out what is happening.

To my surprise mine was chosen, along with other students submissions, for performance at the Electroacoustic Music Festival in New York City, mid April 09!

Onesemble

Onesemble is considered the 'alter-ego' of UK producer Phology, where his style differs from his jazz, hiphop, and acoustic based music, and warps into dark electronic and alternative sounds. However he insists that it is much more than just a 2nd guise to release music under.

"I've been making music for a while now, and even though i've never really had any major exposure, i'm ready to move into a new area of music and media. For me, i'd like to use Onesemble as a place to collaborate with other producers, musicians, artists, filmmakers, and create other solo projects that are different to my usual style. I guess, this is all just part of my 'big plan' to expand the company into other things."

The first release, Scilence is expected mid 2009, alongside Phology's debut album Object. If you would like to collaborate or be a part of future projects, please get in contact!

Phology - Object (TBA)

Well, it's been a loooooooong time in the making, but things on the album are starting to take shape, I just don't want to rush things, and make sure it's done properly. Also my style always seems to change, which makes it hard to take something in one direction, when everything else moves the other way. But I think I have a direction now.

Object, will be a heavily jazz influenced album, but also with elements of electronic and hip-hop music. I love jazz, always have, always will, so to make this album means a lot. I'm keeping all my dirtier and darker music for the Act Normal project (called Scilence), which should drop around the same time as Object.

In the meantime, please check my Myspace for music and additional info!

Phology - Habitual (2007)

Editor: Andrew Perry

Here's a quick music video created for a track called Habitual by our very own Phology, taken from his debut album Object.

Greed (2007)

Director: Andrew Perry / ConnectedSenses

For one of our modules at Uni we had to produce an original short film. Our group chose to create a 'reworking' of an old Bottom script called Burglary.

In the original, Richie and Eddie are being robbed, and capture the robber. They then decide to keep the loot and kill the robber.

In our version, 2 burglars break into a serial killers house by accident and are trapped inside.

A Life Wasted (2008)

Director: Patrick Shanahan / A Pot Of Gold Productions

I provided film students at London Metropolitan University with 3 tracks for their final year short film project, about a homeless man trying desperately to reunite with his wife and son.

Jo Webb And The Dirty Hands - EPK Shoot (2008)

Director: Tom Joyce / Gratis Cinema / Remedy Productions / E4 Music

In association with E4 Music and Remedy Productions, I helped out on the Electronic Press Kit video shoot for UK band Jo Webb And The Dirty Hands at E4 Music Studios, plus a rehearsal at London's Terminal Studios the day before.
